Google Glass Porn App in Development (Wired UK)

Sadly and unsurprisingly pornography is on it’s way to Google Glass. Apparently public porn on phones is too far from one’s eyes! So beware, everyone. Soon people are going to be walking down the street or driving with Google Glass on — watching porn as they go. Not to mention possibly filming you! Yikes!

[Wired UK] — In “Things That Were Only A Matter Of Time” news, adult app creator MiKandi has announced it is working on a porn app for Google Glass.

The suitability of the hands-free system for pornography isn’t hard to fathom, but MiKandi is hoping to produce a product which goes beyond the scope of existing porn options.

The situation, described to ZDNet by co-founder Jennifer McEwen, suggests that the company is interested in exploring the aspects of Glass which would lend themselves to creating porn videos from the perspective of the wearer.

“Because it feels so natural, you can forget about the technology and just be in the moment,” she said. “On top of that, with Glass you can share and interact with fans and followers, allowing them intimate access to your experiences. It’s like Being John Malkovich where you’re viewing the world through someone else’s eyes.”

Obviously, this could have significant implications in terms of potential breaches of privacy so, perhaps once the app launches, beware of unnecessarily bespectacled liaisons.

Traci grew up in an abusive home and was raped at the age of 10 by a neighborhood boy. Her career in the sex industry began when she ran away from home at age 15. She obtained a fake I.D. "mainly to get a job…as a waitress, just some sort of employment," Traci says. "I was really desperate."
When she answered an ad for a figure model in a local newspaper, she was quickly swept up into the porn industry. Nude modeling led to a centerfold in Penthouse, which quickly led to hard-core pornography.
"I had stars in my eyes," she recalls. "And I thought, 'Okay…maybe this is a way of having the attention and having everybody like me."
Battling her "self-loathing," Traci says turning to the porn industry was her way of getting attention.
"It wasn't about sex… it was about numbing out, finding a place to put that anger. I was very aggressive…it was vengeance… it was about attention."
