BDSM Porn Mogul Arrested for Cocaine Possession By Cops Investigating Shooting Range In His Dungeon

The head of BDSM torture porn studio Kink(dot)com recently got arrested for cocaine possession. Is anyone surprised? We’re not. Drug use and other substance abuse is rampant in the porn industry, and not only by performers — as verified by many people who have left porn, and even by some people who are still in it. In any case, check out some of the details of this sad and disturbing story below…

[Gawker] — Peter Acworth, CEO of San Francisco fetish-porn giant Kink(dot)com, has made a fortune from BDSM and maintained a surprising respectability while doing it. Just last month brought the Sundance premier of Kink, a James Franco-produced documentary that glorifies Acworth’s sprawling, filthy empire. But now we’ve learned that Acworth was arrested earlier this month for cocaine possession, by police investigating a report that people were shooting firearms inside the company’s Mission District headquarters. Leave it to San Francisco to combine gun culture and S&M.

Acworth, 42, was arrested at 8:24 p.m. on February 1st and charged with one count of cocaine possession and one count of delaying arrest, according to Albie Esparaza, a San Francisco Police Department Public-Information Officer. Police were initially sent to Kink(dot)com’s massive, $14.5 million studio/dungeon in the old San Francisco Armory at 1800 Mission St. after a concerned citizen reported seeing a video online of men firing guns inside the premises, Esparaza said. Joshua Carlberg, 40, was also arrested and charged with delaying arrest.

Traci grew up in an abusive home and was raped at the age of 10 by a neighborhood boy. Her career in the sex industry began when she ran away from home at age 15. She obtained a fake I.D. "mainly to get a job…as a waitress, just some sort of employment," Traci says. "I was really desperate."
When she answered an ad for a figure model in a local newspaper, she was quickly swept up into the porn industry. Nude modeling led to a centerfold in Penthouse, which quickly led to hard-core pornography.
"I had stars in my eyes," she recalls. "And I thought, 'Okay…maybe this is a way of having the attention and having everybody like me."
Battling her "self-loathing," Traci says turning to the porn industry was her way of getting attention.
"It wasn't about sex… it was about numbing out, finding a place to put that anger. I was very aggressive…it was vengeance… it was about attention."
